Munnar

Pullumedu
Velvet
lawns and rare flora and fauna add to the
beauty of Pullumedu. The famous Sree Ayyappa
Temple at Sabarimala and the Makara Jyothi
illuminations at the shrine are visible from
here. The
winding journey to this hill along the
Periyar River, offers a stunning view of
hills draped in lush greenery.

Backwater:
Kerela
is very famous for its backwater beauty.
Your holiday home in this tranquil world is
the comfortably furnished houseboat or
"Kettuvallam", which means a boat
made by tying together pieces of wood. You
can board your houseboat from select spots
along the backwaters.
The
backwaters mainly cover four districts of
Kerela. The largest backwater body , the
Vembanad Lake , the second largest largest
backwater is Ashtamudi Lake, is considered
the gateway to the backwaters. Third
backwater is the oldest port on the Malabar
coast known as Kollam, considered famous for
houseboats. At the end, the Alappuzha
backwater, long eulogised as the Venice of
the east. These places offers spectacular
